As I was working on my webpage I thought it was interesting the way Google worked. Most people do not know how google makes all their money. For instance if you were to type in the word "Shoes" into google what company pops up first...? Nike, well actually Nike pays google to put their website first on the list so its the first option people have when looking at shoes. So think about all the companies that pay google to put their brand name up at the top of the list.

Today, thanks to our class off I am in the library working on my webpage. I realized that I am not sure if my webpage looks professional enough so I am going to try and fix a few things up in order to change the format of it. I really don't mind working on this webpage and learning how to use frontpage because I feel like I will probably end up making a webpage later down the road. I also plan on spending all of my Friday working on finishing it all up. Then maybe review it on Sunday to make sure I am happy with the way it looks and check over that I have everything on the rubric.

On Professional Development Day, I went downtown to the Bodies exhibit with my anatomy class. It was really interesting to see and learn about. I was amazed when thinking about how they must have done all that. It must have taken some major technology in order to break down a human body down to the nerves, muscles, or even a 5 week old fetus. Whatever the technology is it certainly has taken our studies of the body to a new level.

Today in class we went over what a podcast is and how we are to do one. I didn't realize we had podcasts available for every lecture in this class. I think I will start using the podcasts while I study. I am not much of an auditory learner but while visually learning it certainly couldn't hurt to listen to the lecture at the same time. As for the podcast my partner and I are going to do I am not sure what topic we will be doing yet but it will probably have something to do with nutrition or fitness.

Today in class we went over how to make three different projects. The first of the three projects was to make a certificate, which I decided to choose to make of my Physical Education topic. Next, was to make a flyer which I decided to make of my Health topic. Lastly we went over how to make a fitness calender, which is for elementary students whose Physical Educators do not get to see everyday so they give activities for them to do other days. I still have to finish the calender but I don't mind making things of these sorts because they are realistic to things I will have to do in the near future.

Today in class we took our first quiz and although I know I didn't do as well as I would have liked I now know what to expect so I can better prepare next time. We also went over chapter 3 which delt with capturing audio and visual images for use in Physical Education. I learned a few things I didn't know as far as vocabulary goes for my digital camera. Some of the uses for P.E. are replaying performance, analyzing movement, Project-based learning, or documenting learning.
