Today in class we went over a little of how to use Microsoft Front Page. After messing around with it on my own I found out that it is very similar to Word. First, I really wanted to figure out the structure of my website before I started anything. Then I decided I wanted to use a Venn Diagram to get started. Once I realized that the Venn diagram wasn't working for me I figured out that I could use a similar shape just as well. I think the Index of my webpage will end up looking pretty good. Side note to myself that there is a test on Tuesday.

Today in class we went over using audio visual technology in Physical Education. I find that the most important audio technology is music. Whether the music comes from an Ipod or CD player doesn't really matter to me. If everything worked out for me the way I wanted I would be teaching elementry Physical Education somewhere in Western PA. Since I want to teach Elementry music will be a big part of each class. The most important visual technology, in my opinion, is anyway watching or critiqueing the skills that are being taught. I think I am actually going to start video taping my teams wrestling matches so I can show them what it is they are doing right or wrong. Unforunately, the school doesn't have much to offer as far as a VCR or video camera so I think I am going to take it upon myself to figure it out.

My name is Michael Thompson I am a Junior at Slippery Rock University. I am originally from Hampton Township which is twenty minutes north of Pittsburgh, PA. I am 20 years old and have goals of being a Physical Education teacher. I have wanted to be a Phys. Ed. teacher since I was in middle school. I love working out, being active, and working with children plus it doesn't hurt to have the summers off. Another goal of mine is to coach a winning Varsity wrestling team.
