Today in class we learned a little about how to use excel. I think excel is useful in a school environment. Between attendence, grading, and many other useful information excel is most likely something that as a teacher I will use daily. Now I am going to work on our two projects that are due on tuesday. So I am not the best at keeping up with my blogs. For some reason I seem to push things like blogging off to the side and forget about them. I am getting better at staying with emails but before I started Coaching this year I was terrible at responding and checking my emails. I don't mind blogging I just seem to forget so I guess it is just something I am going to have to work on.

Today in class we went over Internet browsers. It was mostly just a review but I didn't know what all the abrievations of things like html or ftp. We also went over the quiz we took last tuesday and I didn't do as well as I wanted to but there is always next time. This week has now officially been named Efolio week so I will be in the library cranking out that all week.

Today in class we took a quiz and then went over a lecture for chapter 9 which is on Using Telecommunication Applications in Physical Education. We have a few things that are due with in the next coming classes. Most importaly is getting the electronic portfolio tighten up and looking better. Next is the interactive powerpoint is due a week from today. Lastly, my partner and I need to get our podcast done with.

Today in class we went over how to do interactive powerpoint. I think it is pretty cool using powerpoint to make fun games or tests for students to use. I wouldn't have thought about using powerpoint to make a test before now. I think more professors should put practice tests on blackboard using interactive powerpoints in order for students to study better.

Today we got our tests back in class. I got a 46 out of 50 which I am pretty satisfied with. I think the way to study for the tests are to review the powerpoints and listen to the podcasts at the same time. Thats what I did and it seemed to work really well.

Today in class we took a quiz, which I am unsure of how I did. Next, we went over chapter 7 (Computer Assisted Instructional Software). The main focus for me this week is to study really hard for the midterm. I want to do well so I am planning on skimming back through the chapters, looking over the power points, and listening to the podcasts of each lecture. Hopefully, that will prepare me enough for the test.
